Classes & Events

Learn how to make your own wine with our Introduction to Winemaking class on Wednesday September 7, 2011 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Class is located at 10 Robert Jackson Way, Plainville, CT 06062. There is a class limit of 25 people, and a fee of $25 is required.

The class will be taught by Rich Loomis co-owner of Brew and Wine Hobby of East Hartford, CT. This class will cover the basics of how to make quality wines at home.
Topics will include...

• Crushing & destemming
• Pressing
• Fermentation
• Sanitizing
• Racking
• A discussion of wine making processes
• A discussion of wine kits 

Handouts will be provided, along with coupons for wine equipment.

Cheese, Fruit and Crackers will be served. We provide plenty of parking spaces
